Welcome Reception on Thursday 29th of October 2009 at 20:00-21:30

The reception is open to all registrants. It will take place in the Grand Resort Hotel (venue hotel) at 20:00. You must have your conference badge in order to attend the reception. For the accompanying persons the reception is optional and registration is required.

Conference Dinner on Friday 30th of October 2009 at 20:00-24:00

The Conference Dinner will take place on Friday the 20th June at the Grand Resort Hotel. The conference dinner is optional and registration is required.

You must have your Conference Dinner ticket and your conference badge in order to attend the conference dinner.

Closing Dinner on Saturday 31st of October 2009

The closing dinner would take place in Ambelothea Tavern in Omodhos village. Omodhos village is a picturesque mountain village with many attractions such as the narrow streets, the Holy Cross church, the Wine press museum to name but a few. In the tavern, Cyprus Traditional Meze dinner will be offered while a live Greek music band will be playing Greek back round music during dinner. A live folkloric show will start just after main course is served.

PICK UP TIMES (guests will only be collected from the hotels as stated below):
   -  19:15 from Grand Resort.
   -  19:15 from Arsinoe Hotel.
   -  19:30 from Mediterranean Beach Hotel.

On the return to Limassol the busses will stop at the hotels: Park Beach Hotel, Arsinoe Hotel, Mediterranean Beach, Grand Resort and Elias Beach. The expected return time is 23:45.

You must have your Closing Dinner ticket and your conference badge in order to attend the dinner.

Lunches

The lunch will take place at the Grand Resort Hotel (venue hotel). It will comprise salads, a choice of a vegetarian dish and carvery, water and soft drinks, and a desert. A package of 3 lunches can be booked when registered.

The hotel has various restaurants where lunches and snacks can be purchased. There are also restaurants and snack places in walking distance, or few minutes by bus, from the conference venue.

Excursion on Sunday 1st of November 2009

The excursion is optional and registration is required.

You must have your Excursion ticket and your conference badge in order to take part to the excursion.

THE GREEN HEART OF CYPRUS: The Troodos Mountains

A day spent far away from the coast in the green heart of Cyprus where you will discover an island of contrasts.Your tour will take you up to the pine-clad Troodos Mountains through wine country and mountain villages offering you panoramic views out to the north-west coast. It is the most exhilarating experience! Highlight of the day is the visit to Cyprus' most famous and richest monastery Kykkos founded in 12th century, which houses a miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary apparently painted by St. Luke. The fresh mountain air definitely leaves you with an appetite – time for lunch and leisure is planned in the nearby village of Pedhoulas in the Marathassa valley, famous for its cherry production, spring water and 15th century UNESCO church.
